Despite all the difficulties, an ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorder) diagnosis cannot — and must not — be a sentence that limits a child's life. With this conviction, Priorit was born more than 20 years ago in Brazil, with the purpose of transforming not only the lives of children and adolescents with ASD, but also of the entire family.

From that experience, we structured NEAP — the Priorit Employability and Autonomy Center. More than a program, it is a path built with each person, respecting their talents, their wishes and their unique way of being in the world.

We know that entering the job market is not only about getting a job. It is about belonging, finding a purpose and being part of something bigger.

It is a methodology in which professionals from different fields — such as psychology, speech-language pathology and occupational therapy — work in an integrated way and in constant dialogue. Instead of each therapy working in isolation, the team builds a single personalized therapeutic plan, defined from a joint initial assessment and continuously adjusted to each patient's progress.

Psychology, NEAP, Speech-Language Pathology, Occupational Therapy, Family Therapy, Learning Support, PIPA, Tô em Casa, Music Therapy and Denver. Sessions are personalized according to the specific needs of each child.

Yes. A scientific article about the Priorit Methodology was published in the international journal Children. The study followed children and adolescents with autism over 12 months and demonstrated significant improvements in overall functioning, behavior and support needs.
