Yoga

Did you know that with yoga your child can learn to control body and mind?

Yoga practice is known for its physical benefits: it helps regulate hormones, strengthens the immune system, and works the muscles.

But at Priorit, it goes further. For children and teens dealing with anxiety, impulsivity, restlessness, or irritability, yoga can be a safe space to slow down, notice their own body, and find more balance.

Little by little, through breathing, postures, and mindfulness, the practice helps them to:

  • Reduce anxiety symptoms that get in the way of daily life.
  • Recognize their own physical and emotional reactions.
  • Develop self-regulation strategies.
  • Have more patience in the face of frustration.
  • Strengthen self-confidence and autonomy.

Sometimes what a child needs most is a space where they can feel calm, welcomed, and present.
