Our journey

From a purpose to a network of care

Priorit began with a simple, powerful conviction — and, over two decades, turned it into a recognized methodology and locations across the country. This is the timeline that leads to more and more families.

    The beginning

    Instituto Priorit is born with one conviction: an autism diagnosis cannot be a sentence of limitation. That is the starting point for everything that would follow.

  2. 20 years

    A methodology of our own

    Over two decades, clinical experience became method: a transdisciplinary approach that brings different specialties together into a single plan of care, centered on the child and the family.

  3. Science

    Scientific recognition

    The Priorit Methodology is assessed and published in the international journal Children, with outcomes tracked over 12 months — a method that cares and also lets itself be measured.

  4. Brazil

    A growing network

    The same care, built at the headquarters, reaches locations across different states of Brazil, always with the same clinical direction and the same standard of welcome.

  5. Priorit Network

    Today we are one of the first integrated autism care centers in Latin America, with achievements across Brazil and two international locations.

Mission, vision and values

Instituto Priorit is a network of clinics dedicated to caring for people on the autism spectrum and with other neurodevelopmental disorders. Since 2006, the institute has worked with technical excellence, genuine warmth and a commitment to a positive impact on the lives of individuals and families.

Our model of care rests on evidence-based practice, with integrated multidisciplinary teams following a methodology of our own — care that is ethical, personalised and centred on the person and their family context.

How care happens

Our methodology doesn't add up isolated therapies — it integrates specialties into a single journey, from the first meeting to achieving autonomy.

    Joint initial assessment

    It all starts with an initial assessment in which the transdisciplinary team looks at the child as a whole — with no enrollment commitment, just the first step toward understanding each family's needs.

  2. 02

    A single treatment plan

    Instead of isolated therapies, the team builds a single personalized plan, with clear, realistic goals, that brings the different specialties together around one shared objective.

  3. 03

    Continuous follow-up

    The plan is continuously adjusted to each patient's progress, at every stage and age, with the family walking alongside and clarity about every next step.

  4. 04

    Toward autonomy

    The long-term goal is autonomy and quality of life — care that doesn't end in childhood and continues through adolescence and adult life.

Autonomy that doesn't end in childhood

Through NEAP — the Priorit Center for Employability and Autonomy — neurodivergent teens and adults develop functional autonomy and prepare for the job market, from social skills to managing daily life. It is our commitment to development at every stage of life.

A method validated by science

The Priorit Methodology was published in the international journal Children. The study followed children and adolescents with autism for 12 months and recorded significant improvements in overall functioning, behavior and support needs — based on a transdisciplinary, family-centered approach.
